Jeff Cook: Bio

I grew up in western Pennsylvania in the 60's and 70's. I graduated high school in 1979, just after all the steel mills had shut down and everyone was unemployed. Not seeing any future there, I ended up in Florida working in a bottling factory. Along with all the other crap in my life at the time, that job was driving me crazy. I decided I had to do something to keep my brain occupied. I had always wanted to play guitar since I was a little boy so one day I stopped at a music store and bought a really cheap guitar. After about 2 months of playing until my fingers had blisters, I decided I needed help. I signed up for lessons at Lewis Music in Kissimmee, FL and studied under the tutelage of Bob Hall. 24 years later, I'm still playing and better then ever and my style has evolved from Classic Rock to "Blues With An Attitude". I made my way out here to Arizona 4 years ago and have adapted to the dry heat. I've spent a lot of time writing and recording songs to develop enough material for a full length CD. Hopefully that will come together soon.

I hope you enjoy the music.
